This Is Melbourne Exhibition

I was recently invited to participate in a group exhibition called 'This is Melbourne', as part of the Fringe Festival.
It opened last week, and is on until October 13, so get down to The Bella Union bar in the Trades Hall to check out some art! There are some amazing illustrators involved, such as Shaun Tan, Andrea Innocent, Louise Kyriakou, and Laura Wood.

I think one of Melbourne's defining characteristics is its amazing music scene, so I illustrated Melbourne as a Lady of Rock. Damn right she is!
The Trades Hall is also one of the first venues I ever played in, as a wee teenager in a rock band. We supported Melbournian/Japanese punk band Mach Pelican, who modelled themselves on the Ramones. It was a hot, loud, black t-shirt heaven, and we loved it. A perfect venue to hang this piece in.
